I’m a 42 year old, self-taught artist working with colored pencil and occasionally graphite. Though I have tinkered with landscapes and other subjects, most of my work celebrates the human female and all the beautiful and fascinating things I see in them. I really love working with colored pencils and am constantly finding new ways to use this amazing medium to get the images I have in my head onto my paper! Every so often I am successful, but even the not-so-successful ones are worthwhile because I learn from them!  

I am heavily influenced by 20^th Century illustrators, comic book and Pinup artists, Victorian and Pre-Raphaelite painters, Art Deco, Art Nouveau, Classic films, Old Hollywood glamour photography, Rock music and many other things!
